Hi, my name is Madeleine Johnson. I am a sophomore at Xavier College Prep in Phoenix, AZ. I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. My first coach was the best coach I have had...my dad!! I have grown up playing soccer as a recreational player and started playing competitive soccer with SC Del Sol when I was 7 years old. I have been playing with SC Del Sol ever since. I am currently playing up a year on the DPL team with my coach, Ryan Marr.
My love for soccer grew over time as I became more dedicated and involved in the game. Over the years, I have grown into a strong and consistent player. I usually play in a forward position; however, I am also playing in an attacking mid field position. I am very versatile on the field and I am highly accurate on my passing game.
I study very hard and have a 4.0 GPA. I am also actively involved in my school and community, serving on my school's Key Club and as a member of National Charity League. I am very proud of myself that I earned the President's Volunteer Award for doing over 50 hours of volunteer work.
My mindset is to attend a college where I can challenge myself in both the academic and athletic realm of things. I am open to ALL options and want to ultimately find the college that is best fit for me, academically and athletically.
