Bianca Avila '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello I am Bianca Avila I am a 15 year old goalkeeper in Concord, California. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and have been a goalkeeper since I was 7. I believe I am great candidate because I find myself very hard working and coachable. I am one to never give up on any drill, practice/training, games, and tournaments. I am also very vocal on the field which is a necessity for goalkeepers. I am always making sure my field players are where I want/need them to be. Also I make sure that all set plays are the way the coaches and I want them to be. And I am also making sure that if I need to get the ball from the other team I am always aggressive to it. As a goalkeeper I need to be aggressive, and I believe that any goalkeeper should have the ability to make any attacker/ team scared of them. I am very fearless in the box and I will put my body in  harm's way for my team. I have hurt people in the past and though I have felt a little sad I get over quickly it because it is my job to protect my goal no matter what. I'm also good under pressure, because i am able to make split second decisions in one on ones and especially penalty kicks even if those situations aren't the best. I enjoy the challenge that comes with these plays, and these plays have mostly positive outcomes in favor of my team. I've always been on top of my grades, and I love learning new things on and off the field. I enjoy school and take it as seriously as soccer. I believe that my experience, my vocal and aggressive play style, and my dedication to both school and soccer will make me a candidate worth considering.
