Hi, my name is Shelby Lyon. I am a Junior, class of 2022, at El Segundo High School, in El Segundo, California.  I am interested in studying Forensic Science in college.  I love playing soccer!  I stated playing soccer when I was 4 years old and moved to club when I was 8. I started my club experience playing for L. A. Galaxy South Bay, after 2 years I moved to Beach Futbol Club South Bay, where I have played ever since.  Some of my strengths are, I am smart with the ball and I see the field very well, this allows me to be successful playing all positions.  For my club team I have played every potion and on my high school team I play midfield and forward.  On my high school team, I was awarded Best Attacking Player my freshman year.  I feel that midfield is my strongest position.  I was given the opportunity to be a captain of my club team this past year.  As captain, I lead by example and I always support and encourage my teammates.   I always work hard on the field and off the field, I am on my school honor roll, I am a member of the National Charity League and a Girl Scout.

I really love playing soccer and would love to continue my soccer experience in college.
