Dakota Ledesma '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dakota Ledesma, I’m sixteen years old and I have been playing soccer competitively since I was eight. Over the last eight years of doing so, I have experienced some of the best feelings such as sprinting up the field to receive a pass, the rush of adrenaline as I fight to win the ball, and the obvious ones, scoring goals and winning games. I played with Mill Valley Soccer Club for five years, and in 2019, I switched to Marin FC ECNL. During my time at MVSC, I played with many people who have impacted my life. My team is like a second family to me, we all encourage and push each other to be the best that we can be. In college, I aspire to learn as much as I can on the field and off and make memories with my team that last a lifetime. 

Even though one of my goals is to play for a school that has a great soccer program, I would also like to attend a school that has a highly ranked academic program. I am interested in Residential Real Estate and I currently have an internship at Golden Gate Sotheby's to help prepare me for my future career. As a student with a 4.2 GPA, I am interested in challenging myself academically as well as athletically. Thank you for your interest in helping me achieve my goals and dreams.
