Jackelyn Paz '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am Jackelyn Paz. I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. This sport has been a big part of me and feels like a part of who I am. I've never played in a club even though I've always wanted to, but it was never possible for me because of many reasons. Although, I've played at a park all my youth years 5-13 years old. My coaches, training, and games have taught me the skills, leadership and hard work, It would take for a high school experience and maybe college. Playing in my high school has made me realize that I want to take a higher challenge and achieve better in my future playing. In games and practice I am a leader and strategic player to my team and especially my defense. I am always willing to bring up their spirit by not giving up on them and talking to my defense on how we can support each other. Also, playing as a center defender made me realize that there will be times where we make mistakes but next time will be different on how we observe and not give up on the ball. I never miss out on practice because I am willing to put full commitment on my team and future teams ahead.
