My name is Alondra Alvarado. I have played soccer since I was 5 years old and have loved it ever since. My family has encouraged me to follow my academic and athletic dreams. I plan to study Chemistry and Criminal Justice, Forensics and Corrections in college.
When I first started soccer I played recreational and now I play competitively for Black Oaks Soccer Club and for Montgomery High School's Women's Varsity team. I am interested in joining a soccer program at a university that will provide me with opportunities to grow both on the field and in the classroom.
One of my strengths is that I am able to listen to constructive feedback from both my coaches and teammates. I am then able to put that feedback into effect on the field as I hope to become not only a better player, but also a better teammate. I thrive in environments that are challenging but will also allow me to fall and get back up again. I am aware that my position will not just be handed to me, but that I will have to work hard to earn it.
Thank you for taking the time to read about me and learn what I have to offer as a student athlete.
