Personal Statement
Soccer has been an important part of my life since I was two. So much of who I am has been shaped by the values soccer instills in you of working hard, the importance of teamwork and having fun while doing it.
As the starting goalkeeper for Broomfield Soccer Club's '06 Girls Academy team, I am known for my composure under pressure and for being coachable. I have great technical and ball handling skills, both with my hands and feet, a high soccer IQ and excellent field awareness. I also have strong shot stopping and 1v1 abilities as well as powerful and accurate distribution.
I attend Prospect Ridge Academy, a college preparatory high school in Broomfield, Colorado, and challenge myself with all Honors and AP classes. I will graduate in 2024 and have a 4.6 weighted GPA. I have been the starting Varsity goalkeeper since Freshman year and hold the school record for fewest goals allowed in a season. I am a strong leader on and off the field, and am a team captain for my Varsity Soccer and Basketball teams., I am known for my composure under pressure and for being extremely coachable. I also have strong shot stopping and one v. one abilities as well as powerful and accurate distribution. I am a strong leader on and off the field, and am well liked by my teammates as I am extremely positive and supportive.
