Lyla Kocher '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a freshman at Colorado Academy in Denver, and a two-footed, attack-minded midfielder and forward. For my Rush Girls Academy team, I primarily play the 8 and the 7/11, and sub in at the 9 and 10. A confident scorer, I can finish from distance with either foot. I am one of two freshman on my high school's varsity soccer team and I start at either right wing or the 6 for this team.

Three things that make me standout are: 1. My versatility - I currently play five different positions for my club team and my high school team. 2. My attitude - I am a very positive teammate and coachable player. I am always looking to improve my game and lift my teammates up. 3. My shot - A college coach and a current college player told me I already have a college "shot". I keep working on my leg strength and accuracy to make my attack even more dangerous.
