Dannon Yake '22 Recruiting Profile

I would like to play soccer at the collegiate level. I have been playing soccer for the past 13 years of my life and it has become one of my biggest passions. Throughout my time playing this amazing sport, I have met some of my closest friends and made many of my fondest memories. I have enjoyed challenging myself to constantly improve and would like to continue to do that in college soccer, while also being able to make many more friends and memories along the way.

Throughout my time as a student and an athlete, I have always prided myself on my work ethic. I constantly strive to complete every task I take on to the best of my abilities. Whether this is a small school assignment or learning a new skill in soccer or preparing for my final exams and continually working to keep myself in the best shape possible for soccer I always put my best foot forward and accept nothing from my best from myself. I am also a strong leader on and off of the field. During school I am always willing to help my fellow students review a concept in order to make sure that they understand it and are able to complete the task to the best of their ability. On the field, I am a positive presence and help push my teammates to give their full effort 100% of the time.  I believe that I would be a good addition to any school both on and off the field due to my resilience, leadership, and strong work ethic.

In my search for my future college, I hope to find one that meets both my athletic and academic needs. My education has and always will be a priority of mine and will be extremely influential on my final decision. My goal is that my future college will be the best fit for my keeping both athletics and academics in mind.
