Annika Archer '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Annika, and I've been playing soccer since I was a toddler. I'm a hard working player who loves to take risks, be a leader, and inspire teammates to excel. My primary position has been outside-back, however since playing in an age group a year up from my own, I've really enjoyed playing outside midfield.  I've fought through injuries and set backs along the way, in order to become the best version of myself on and off the pitch. 

Academically, I'm taking advanced classes and I love to learn. I enjoy engineering, math, science, and digital design. I'm also in advanced Spanish language class. My goal for college is to major in bio-mechanical engineering, at a school that supports me both academically and athletically.

In addition to soccer, I'm a swim captain for my high school. It's great cross training for soccer, and has taught me how to become a better leader and persevere beyond my comfort zone. 

As a high school Junior, I want to keep my options open for college academics and sports.  I would absolutely love to have the opportunity to play at a collegiate level, and continue to develop my leadership, skill, and tactics. I'm a very determined student athlete, and I aspire to continue doing so in college.
