Personal Statement

My name is Gianna Mendez and I am currently a senior at East Haven high school. I have been playing soccer for 14 years and my biggest goal is to play college soccer. I love the game and I also love the friendships i’ve created with all of my teammates. Soccer has taught me a lot about respect and sportsmanship which is very important to me, and now being a captain it is teaching me a lot about leadership. When I go college I want to study health sciences because my interest is in athletic training.
