Isabella Cutter '27 Recruiting Profile

I’m a very hardworking student and athlete.  I  always go above and beyond to better myself and those around me!  If I face a challenge, I don’t let it stop me; I find a way to not only get around it but also strive to go beyond what anyone expects from me!  I do this in all of my classes, in soccer, and in life!  Despite playing both wing / forward on the field, I decided several years ago to make Goalkeeper my primary position!  I fell in love with the position and found that I excelled not only in shot-stopping but also in my ability to communicate, lead, and organize the field.  I want to help my team be the best it can be, and I do believe my ability to communicate from the back to the front line helps any team I am on to excel. No matter what the circumstance, I will always give my 100%! That determination I will bring to whatever team I am on, and I promise to give my team and coaches everything.

My family is my everything, as my parents have taught me to find strength in them as my foundation in life. I am very close to them and value that relationship. My parents have helped to make me the person I am today, and I am thankful for them and my brother for helping to establish my moral character.  I absolutely love how they show up for everything I do, and that has taught me to "show up" for everyone in my life!

In addition to playing soccer, I love participating in activities at my boarding school and taking an active role in many campus clubs.  My favorite has to be Improv Club.  Improv has helped me to come outside of my comfort zone, while having a lot of fun by making people laugh!  I am looking forward to being the co-leader of the group in my senior year.  I also serve as an admissions tour guide and peer tutor on campus for both math and science classes, all of which help to make me a well-rounded person.
