Taylor Proto '26 Recruiting Profile

Academically, I'm interested in majoring in Music Education. I am specifically interested in vocal music. My career choice is not yet decided however I will most likely be a choir or general music teacher at the elementary level. I started playing soccer at 4 years old and I started playing goalkeeper at 8 years old. I started playing goalkeeper because I was the only kid on my team who was brave enough to do it and I quickly fell in love with the position. Soccer has given me physical agility and strength, ability to be a team player, mental resilience, leadership skills, confidence and taught me the value of hard work. I've worked with a private goalkeeper coach since 7th grade and worked with my club teams goalkeeper coaches starting as a freshman. My coaches have constantly used me as an example of a player who works hard on and off the field to become the best player I can be. I love soccer and I would be honored to play the sport I love in college.
