Samantha Colby '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Colby and I aspire to play and significantly contribute to a highly competitive collegiate program while earning an excellent education.  I have played soccer since I was 5 years old, am passionate about it, and it is a significant part of who I am.  I am also passionate about all aspects of training and I am dedicated to putting in the time and work so that I can continually improve all aspects of my game.

As you will see from my video, I am a natural attacking center midfielder who can shoot with power from range with both feet and I am comfortable taking on players in the final third of the field to create scoring opportunities.  I see the field extremely well, distribute the ball effectively and I am a coachable player.  Lastly, I am a versatile player that can play any midfield or forward position and I am ready to work hard to play and contribute at the college level.  

Academically I push myself to maintain a high GPA and participate in other extracurricular activities.  I want to be able to contribute to a high-level team as well as receive a high level of education.
