My name is Juliette Harris. I'm 15, and play soccer for a High School Travel Showcase team at Delaware Futol Academy in Fredericka, DE. I'm a sophomore at Caesar Rodney High School in Camden, DE with a 94/100 GPA, taking all advanced track and AP classes and three major programs of study. I will be majoring in Animation at university and want to play soccer while I do.
Last spring, as a Freshman, I was a starter on the JV team at Caesar Rodney High School, a Division I high school with 2200 students. I primarily played attacking midfield, but I'm a versatile player and play where the team needs me, so I sometimes also played striker or defensive mid. I received an award at the end of the season for Offensive Player of the Year for the JV team. Delaware is one of the 11 states that have women's soccer in the spring instead of fall, so my sophomore season starts February 26, 2024.
On my travel team, I play midfield, which includes the 10 CAM, LAM, CDM, and holding mid.
Despite my 5'2" stature, I hold my own on the field. I have over 7 years soccer training. I started playing when I was five but took a few breaks when I was young to try gymnastics, dance, swimming, cross country, and track. I've always come back to soccer. I love the physicality and strategy of the game. I'm constantly watching videos to learn how to improve my game, and then rounding up my two younger brothers to go train with our full-size goal and rebounding wall in our yard.
