Abby Unger '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Abigail (Abby). Currently, I am a freshman. I play for Orlando City ECNL-R  as well as Lake Mary High School. During my freshman year, I was a starter on JV and got moved up to Varsity for games frequently throughout the season. 

I started playing soccer when I was 3. As I grew up playing the sport, I realized that it’s a experience I love and want to play for as long as I can. I hope to play at the highest level. For me, I would gratefully play any soccer in college, but D1 is my goal. Of course it’s not easy to play D1, but i’m hard working and striving in every practice and game I attend. I am a very disciplined, hard worker and I hope to one day play professionally, wherever I may end up at.

Center Back is my preferred position, but I am impactful in any position necessary. My quick speed of play, high soccer IQ, and creative distribution of the ball are my strongest attributes. I am also known to be very coachable and can adapt to any style of play, and with any players I get put with.
