Personal Statement
I am 5'7", weighing 150 pounds, midfielder from Pensacola, FL, and will graduate in the class of 2020. I am a 17 year old, and I have been playing soccer for the last 11 years of my life. As a starting freshman on my high school varsity team, I was given the most impactful player award by my coach.
I would like to attend a Division 1 or a Division 2 school in the Southeastern region, which offers my chosen major of Veterinary Science. As a teammate on a college soccer team, I would bring hard work and leadership. I enjoy pushing myself and encouraging others to reach their full potential. One of my athletic goals would be to play at the highest level of competition possible, and leave an impact on the game of soccer.
In 2017 & 2018 I had to have ACL repairs on each of my legs. This was tough emotionally and physically. It took a lot of determination and hard work to get back to a physical state where it was safe to play. I have learned so much about myself. I didn't know just how much I could overcome. I am training with my travel team, and working with a trainer after school for strength and agility.
Determination and a goal to play on a college level has kept my going through it all!
