Victoria Figueroa '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Victoria Figueroa, I am 16 years old and currently a 11th grader at Gulliver Preparatory School in Pinecrest, Florida. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 1/2 years old, and have been playing in competitive travel teams since 3rd grade. When I got to High school I was the only Freshmen starter on my High School Varsity team, as well as a started for both my Sophomore and Junior year, and I will be captain my senior year. I truly take being a student-athlete very serious. Throughout the last three years of high school, I have taken both Honors and AP classes, and I am about to finish my first year of the IB Program.  

Since I was 3 years old I have participated in many after school activities such as competitive soccer and competitive dance.  I use to have competitive dance practice, school soccer practice and club soccer practice all in the same day, all still maintaining excellent grades.  Having an extremely busy schedule taught me a key skill, of time management.  A skill that has helped me stay focused on my dreams and goals.  It has enabled me to be an excellent student athlete excelling in both, academics and on the field.  I am truly a committed and determined student athlete and wish continue to do so in college.  I hope to continue to play the sport I love in college and also receive a great higher education.
