My name is Emily LaBarge and I am a 5’7 125-130 lb attacking forward in soccer. Soccer has been a passion of mine since i was 4 years old. I was never that great but during my 9th grade year i decided to work harder to achieve my goals. I put in work outside of practice, spent my whole summer working on my ball handling skills and shooting with both feet. I have played youth soccer while growing up and then played for my school in middle school. I lived in New York and played my 9th grade year on the Junior Varsity team and started left wing most games. I then moved to Northern Florida where i now play off of a club team called Florida Force on Amelia Island. I also played on my school’s (Yulee High School) Varsity Soccer team and we made it to district finals. I pride myself in my abilities to make plays and score goals. Im always looking to cross the ball, looking for through balls to get the ball to the middle, looking to drop to a defender or to a CDM for a shot. Playing in college is a dream for me and i’m doing everything i can to make sure it happens. I keep my grades high, and my ambition higher. I consider myself one with lots of passion and grit. I am very hard on myself but only because i know i can ALWAYS do better.
