Olivia Norton '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Olivia Norton. My passion for the game began when I started playing soccer 8 years ago, and has only grown since then. I seek competitive levels of play constantly, entering challenging environments and improving from them. I'm an extremely hard-working player on and off the field, holding myself accountable in games and pushing myself in practice and individual training to improve. The balance of my academic and athletic duties is very important to me. Off of the pitch, I hold my academic standards very high. I was previously in the IB Diploma program at Decatur High School, taking multiple IB/AP classes and maintaining a 4.0 GPA.  I transferred to Capstone Academy to allow for more training time this past year and have a 4.0 GPA.  I pride myself on my vision of the game and the ability to split opposing lines, which gives me great success as a holding midfielder. I also rely on my speed and strong technical ability as an outside and attacking midfielder. It has always been my dream to compete at the collegiate level, continue to improve, and play competitively after college as well.
