Alexys Fugate '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexys Fugate and I am currently a Senior at Chapel Hill High School. My goals for college currently are to become an Chemist because of my passion for science and the periodic table. I also can see myself working in Tampa Bay for a lab or hospital. My alternate plan is to become a pediatric surgeon with a minor in Chemistry. I also aspire to be a college soccer player for an elite academic school. Such as Vanderbilt, UCLA, Princeton, UGA and USF. I am a perfect candidate for their teams because I have a drive to play and I most importantly a passion, therefore I will do anything and everything to do what's best for the team. I have a great attitude and I'm ready to work hard. What makes me different from others who are also attempting to get recruited is that I am very unique, caring, kind, understanding and I've been through my fair share of tribulations that have taught me how to stay motivated, while keeping my eye on the prize. Winning isn't the most important thing to me, it's the learning and hardships along the way. Besides on the field, I am also a great student-athlete with a lot of motivation in the classroom to learn! It is very important to me to maintain the best grades and participate in my community. Along with academics, my character is also something I take pride in! I am uniquely me and no one else is like myself because I have ambition like no other, pride in my team and I will never ever give up! I look forward to wherever I end up and I cannot wait to play some soccer.
