My parents always tell the story of their beautiful baby daughter who came into this world fighting for her life. I've always a had great tenacity for life. There is such a passion within me not just to do well but to be great and give more then one hundred percent. I am my own worst critic, and I say this because anyone who knows me well will say "she is already fixing what was wrong before we can ever get the word out." Working with a team we must be able to see what our own faults are before we can help others. We are only as good as our weakest link. I take pride not just in myself but for my whole team and school.
My college goals are to play women soccer while obtaining a degree as a Cardiac Pediatric Surgeon. When I was a baby my parents were told I would probably lead a sedentary life because of my heart condition. Looking at me today you would never know the struggles I faced as a baby. It is a deep passion of mine to give another child the same chance the surgeon gave to me. I am a very athletic individual. I participated in competitive dance for 8 years and then went into competitive cheer-leading for my local school. Soccer has always held a bigger place in my heart. I have played soccer since 4 years of age. The rush I fee when running on the field is explainable. God has truly blessed and me and I want to share his love with the world.
Any college who is willing to give me the opportunity will see that I bring leadership, discipline, honesty, humility, integrity, work ethics, toughness, honor, and a love for life.
