I have been playing soccer since I was three years old, and because of this it has always been a huge part of my life. To me, soccer is more than just a sport, but an oppurtunity to be a part of a team and form bonds with others -- this is why playing in college is important to me.
Both in and outside of soccer, I am very competitive and driven to finish what I start. I think this seperates me from other athletes because I'll never give up on my team or myself. I'm also easily coachable. I will listen to every comment, concern, or critque and do my best to apply it to the way I play.
I am a freshman as well as a straight A student. I take both honors and AP classes, and my first semester (i.e. Fall 2018), I made the Head of School's List. Outside of academics, I start on the varsity soccer as a right defender and play on the JV team. I also play volleyball in the fall for Lakeview. Additionally, I'm on the student government as a Secretary.
Once in college, I want to study biology and then go on to get my Doctorate in Parasitology. I understand that this will take a lot of work to achieve, and I will do everything it takes to accomplish this. Overall, I hope to find the best college to fit both my athletic and academic goals.
