I've played soccer since the time I can remember and after that long of building skills and a passion for one sport, I know I want to play at the collegiate level. This dream of mine keeps me working on and off the field. I balance social life, school life, and of course my soccer life considerably well by maintaining a 4.2 and being elected numerous times as class officer, valentine court, and even take part in club leaderships. My friends and family, like most, encourage me to pursue whatever dreams I have and with their support, my amazing coaches, and my well grounded character I know I can reach my goals. The goals I plan to achieve in college include getting a degree that gives me much success after college, building friendships with teammates who will forever be a part of my life, and be concise with everything I do. I believe no matter what I face with these next 2 years of high school and club ball, I will attend a college with the degree I wanna pursue (molecular biology or business) and play on a quality soccer team. The school I attend now does not have much success in the soccer program, we get little to no recognition for the small achievements we possess, and we can barely get the numbers each year. Thankfully, club ball offers me everything school ball doesn't. Even if the college I attend isn't at the top of the charts, I believe in perseverance due to the fact that two years ago, my team was at the bottom of Athena B now we're beating and tying with teams who rule Athena A and they thought they would beat us, the new team. Over the years I've learned that no matter where you're from, what school you play at, or how much money your mom and dad have, your skills, heart, and character come from within and will reflect on the success you achieve on and off the field.
