Effort, hard work, and persistence are the building blocks of my foundation. At the age of 8 I decided I wanted to play club soccer, but did not make the premier level team. It was this moment that I learned if I wanted a position on any team whether it be soccer, college, career I would have to earn it. I spent the next 2 years learning the game, my strengths that made me a unique player, my room for improvements, and never let my shortcomings deter me from achieving my goal. By 10 I earned that position and have been playing premier level soccer ever since. I learned that effort and hard work are just the first steps to progress, but persistence is what keeps you on your path to growth.
Sports have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have played both club and high school volleyball and soccer, although soccer is where I excel at. While playing competitive dual sports I have learned to adapt to many different changes and challenges, for example playing multiple positions, playing for different coaches and coaching styles, playing with different team mates with a variety of skill levels. Although I have played year round dual sports I have always maintained academic honors. I believe in my teams success before my own, and that winning is achieved when everyone puts forth their best effort.
I would like to continue my journey with a college and a team who is looking for a player that values team first, who is steadfast and will work hard to be an effective an integral player on and off the field.
