I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember. Soccer has helped me become a stronger person, a confident leader, and a positive teammate. Being the varsity goalkeeper at my high school 3 years in a row, I've learned to take on responsibilities and challenges all with a smile on my face. I am very big on communication. I'm a loud person and being able to see the field and direct my team is something I love and feel I'm very good at. Throughout my years of playing soccer I have learned to push myself to be better on and off the field. I enjoy hard work and I'm not afraid to learn new skills or try things that are outside of my comfort zone.
I am a 3 sport, year round athlete playing soccer, basketball, and track. Being an athlete and being active has always been apart of my life, I find that it not only helps me focus on the field but in the classroom as well. Although I'm not sure what I want to study in college I know with my strong work ethic I have what it takes to be successful in the classroom as well as on the pitch. Not only are academics and athletics important to me, but so is kindness. I am heavily involved in my high schools "buddy club" where we help students with special needs. Working with students with special needs has driven me to be the best person I can be. I've learned to be empathetic, understanding, and most of all grateful for all the opportunities in my life. Seeing the world from a different perspective makes you appreciate not only the great moments but all the little ones along the way.
With my motivation and dedication I know I have what it takes to be on your team.
