Ragan West '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Ragan West and I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember but not seriously until I was 12 years old when I joined a local club team. I played for The Academy, which later became Inferno, for about five years. I just recently joined Washington East Soccer Club and will be attending some upcoming tournaments as well as our league games throughout this season. Aside from club soccer, I just finished my fourth year on the Timberlake High School varsity soccer team and was apart of the 2019-2020 All-Intermountain League team. Throughout the years, I have played center defense as well as left and right defense. My coaches have played me as a midfielder but I believe I best contribute as a defender. I believe myself to be very coachable and always open to new ideas even when I may think they're crazy. I am very driven and always give 100% at every practice and every game to ensure I preform at the best of my ability. As far as what I want to study, it has always been a dream of mine to become an elementary school teacher so one day I can greatly impact the lives of my students as my teachers did when I was growing up.
