Personal Statement
Hi! I’m Jalynn and I am a 5'4" 140 lbs Junior from a rural school located in central Illinois. I have played soccer since I was about 3 years old, and even played club from the age of 7 to about 13. I try and stay very involved in my community as well as the school. That is why I proudly hold 2 positions on my schools student council. As both class treasurer, and executive media specialist. This year I will be a qualified election judge for my county, and always am first to come up with volunteer work to help out those struggling in this very difficult time.
I have tumbling sessions 1 time weekly, practice soccer 2 days a week, cheerleading 2 days a week, weight training 2 days a week, and a personal trainer 4 days a week. So, as you could probably imagine, I have a crazy busy lifestyle. and still manage to keep straight As, for the most part. Balancing school and sports gets pretty tricky, but once you find the right amount of time, it is pretty hard to fall out of routine!
As a player at the collegiate level, I would love to further my skills and abilities, and help whatever school I end up at eventually win some, if not several titles. With that being said I understand that takes a lot of commitment, which I am willing to give. I also will pursue school as a major priority in my collegiate career!
