Morgan Kroeger '26 Recruiting Profile

Since I was very young (5 years old), soccer has been my greatest passion. I've loved it since the first time I played. My parents say that even when I was that young, they could tell I stood out from the other kids on the field. Since then, I have played every year of my life as much as I can. I've played with three different travel teams, and currently play with FCX on Black 1 as a forward.  I am also currently playing ECNL and ODP.  I made the ODP "A" team this year and just competed against Indiana '07 and '08 ODP teams on 1/8/23, and my team and I went 2-0 against them.  The wknd of 2/17/23 I played regional ODP in Memphis, TN and my team and I went 3-0!  

I am a freshman in HS right now. Last year in 8th grade, my middle school team went undefeated, and our combined goal differential at the end of the season was 93-10. I was awarded Offensive Player of the Year and got a trophy. My great friend Lizzie was named Defensive Player of the Year, and after that I got her to come join my FCX team from another club she was playing with. Almost every one of my closest friends are from soccer. I love everything about the game, and plan to play it for as long as I can, and as far as I can go with it whether that means college, or even professional, that is my goal and dream. 

Update: On 3/3/23, I learned my made my High School varsity soccer team!  I am one of two freshmen to do that.  So excited for the season!

Update: I've made the IL state ODP team.  I'll be playing in St. Louis in June, and Arizona in January!
