Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Emma Czech and I am a defensive midfielder/ center defender for Chicago Inter 06/05 ECNL. My team and I compete in ECNL's Midwest Division. I am a hard-working individual on and off the field. I am always open to learning new skills and getting feedback on improving my play. In the classroom, I always strive to put forth the best work I possibly can while maintaining a 4.23/4 GPA. When I was about 4 years old my parents started getting me into sports such as basketball, volleyball, and soccer. Right away I fell in love with the sport of soccer and never looked back. Being in the soccer environment brings me so much joy and has become my “escape from reality.” Thanks to soccer, I have created many excellent relationships with my teammates and coaches while participating in many unique experiences. Soccer has taught me so many things such as teamwork, dedication, perseverance, and determination which have shaped who I am today. I am interested in a school that competes in the NCAA division but also has a strong sports medicine major. I am not quite sure what I want to study, however, I am interested in becoming something like a physical therapist or exercise physiologist. One thing for sure is that I can’t wait to take my game to the next level!
