My name is Quinn Fahey, and I play for the Girls Academy team at Galaxy SC. A determining factor for my personal drive to succeed comes from always being placed on older teams. My goal has always been to “pull my weight” on teams with talented, older players as I have always played up in my early years of club soccer. Winning the USYS National Championship in 2024 when I was 13 years old was truly a memory with my teammates that I will forever cherish. I tied for lead goal scorer in that series with three goals, and a moment I will never forget was scoring a header goal in the National Championship game to help our team clinch the National Championship! I knew at that moment that I wanted to continue to push myself to play at the highest level possible.
I now play for the Girls Academy team at Galaxy Soccer Club where we have secured first place in our conference for the second year in a row. I am most proud, though, that my commitment to personal growth has translated into the collaborative success of our team. I am dangerous in the air and I am a constant target on many set pieces, as heading is a definite strength of mine!
Being a student-athlete is something in which I take great pride. I address my academics as I do my athletics, holding myself to high standards. I have been on the high honor roll each trimester for the last three years, and I will be taking honors and AP courses next year as I begin high school. I know I will make a positive impact both in the classroom and on the soccer field in college, and I look forward to all the opportunities that are ahead.
