I am a great candidate for a team looking for someone with a strong work ethic both on and off the field that parallels my love of soccer and learning. In the Fall of 2020 I switched schools in order to attend in-person classes (as part of the Covid19) and have learned that I am resilient and can manage to maintain achievements in multiple settings.
I am dedicated to sports, taking every opportunity to build skills and strategic understanding. I am quick, strong, tactically smart, and "coachable". I have had competitive experience in multiple positions and am a versatile player. Last year I was awarded high school best offensive player and was the leading scorer (half of my goals are headers). Of all sports, I enjoy soccer most because it's a team sport and I measure my success as much by how well I perform as I do by how well I help my teammates succeed, plus I love the camaraderie.
Realizing that I may never make it to a professional pitch, I focus on my academics as much as my sports, maintaining a 4.0+ GPA. I was also awarded a student leadership award as a sophomore. My goal is to attend an academically challenging undergraduate school with a similarly competitive women's soccer team.
Over the next year, I plan to visit school campuses, as well as ID camps, and will reach out to coaches as I travel. It is truly exciting, as a high school junior, to begin thinking about the next chapter of my education.
