JoJo Murphy '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is JoJo Murphy and I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I realized at a very young age that I loved the game and wanted to play at a very high level. I am a team leader, being named captain on both my high school and club teams. I try to be a good example and positive influence for my teammates. I am very coachable and will always give my best.

Academics are very important to me. I work equally as hard in the classroom. Playing soccer in college has been my lifelong dream and I look forward to making it a reality soon. 

My high school coach recently described me as, “a box to box midfielder who is a ball-winner with a good shot, great passing abilities, elusive with the dribble, and has marked some of the best players in the state who have played at D1 level and below, excels at ball winning”. 

I appreciate the compliment and work hard every day to make sure I am still deserving of it.
