Personal Statement
Although I am an all A's honor student, school is not the only important thing in my life. Soccer has been the one constant throughout my life, a way for me to get rid of stress and to have fun! I want to keep playing for as long as I can. Another dream I have is to have a great college education on top of a fun playing experience. As I've experienced on every team I have played on, a group of "team players" that enjoy being together is key to success. I feel I am a perfect fit for any team looking to have a squad of smart, supportive, fun players on and off of the field!
As a Freshman and Sophomore, I started for my high school’s Varsity team. I have had to learn to play different positions for ODP like right mid or outside back. The challenge was one I enjoyed, and now although I prefer center mid, I am comfortable anywhere on the pitch! Stepping up to try those new positions really shows how willing I am to be a team player. I have found that being able to play in multiple postions has given me an advantage with foot skills, as well as being able to make plays.
I am experienced with fast paced games and high level players on many fronts. Aside from playing ODP for four years, I have been a guest player for the WPSL Indy Saints. I have also been invited to the ODP Midwest Region ID Camp.
I look forward to keep preparing for high level soccer and seeing the college playing experience and what various colleges and universities have to offer!
