Personal Statement

I excel at both academics and soccer. I have attained a 4.0 GPA all while studying in my second language, French. I have represented the Province of Quebec at the highest level for four years in its Programme d'Excellence Féminine. I am an over-achiever and am therefore looking for a highly a competitive environment for my College career, both in the classroom and on the pitch. Within this spirit, I am seeking to pursue my studies in pre-med and play soccer in the NCAA Division 1

I want to play for a coaching staff that is knowledgeable and professional, while also possessing conviction that character is a key ingredient toward building a winning culture. I want to win my college's Conference Championship. But above all, I want to win the National Championship.

The great Laurent Duvernay-Tardif showed the world that if one puts their mind to it, one can become a champion in all facets of life. He is my role model and I follow his example. The way I see it: if he can achieve his lofty objectives, so can I!

Finally, I pride myself in being a team player, and always conducting myself with humility and class. I believe my approach contributed to three key championship teams: Jeux de Quebec (2018), Coupe de Quebec (2019), and Province of Quebec U15 AAA (2021).

Awards and Activities

  • AwardsAt the end of my grade six year, I received two rewards. One was in gym class, specifically soccer merits. Next, I received a special the Louise Humann award. This award is given to a hard-working person who showed perseverance and determination in learning throughout the seven years spent in elementary school. In grade 7, I received two similar awards. I was named the female sports player of the year. This was given to a student-athlete of the first cycle that was illustrated at practices of my sport (soccer). The student-athlete stood out by their involvement, their leadership, their work ethic, and their exceptional performances in their sport. Secondly, I received a mention of academic perseverance who is obtained by people who implicate an effort during the whole school year. At the end of secondary two, I received two awards during the virtual gala. I got the prize for commitment in long distance learning and the academic excellence award.
  • ActivitiesMy only extracurricular activity is soccer.
