Andrea Tricio '24 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches, 

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I fell in love with this sport when I first touched a soccer ball, I don’t remember a time when soccer hasn’t been a part of my life. It is my dream to be recruited in colleges as I believe it is a great level that will improve my playing level so much. 

As a Mexican girl from a small town in the north, I never imagined the possibility of applying to colleges  outside of Mexico. Recently my parents allowed my to explore universities outside my country, gave me the opportunity to start applying and going to these university when I am accepted.  This is why I am starting my soccer recruitment process a little late, this doesn’t mean that I am not interested or have less motivation than other. 

I am a strong and complete player, I can play many positions and I‘m dominate with both legs. I am a team leader and try my best to always make my team be the best inside and outside the field. I am known to be one of the most hardworking girls on all my teams having private lessons aside from team trainings. 

In the classroom I am well known for my good grades and a great balance between sports and academics. I have a high GPA and study hard to keep it this way. I also love to help out my community by doing social service and have my own small business with my brother. 

I would love to enter a college where I can push myself and strive To be better every single day in all aspects of my life. I am really open minded and eager to speak no many coaches to find different opportunities and my best option.
