I loved playing soccer since I was a child. Whenever I step onto the soccer field I feel free and deep inside I always know that no matter how hard the training gonna be, I am still gonna enjoy it to my fullest. I would say during my high school period it was the most challenging time of my life. A time in which I had to choose between my studies and playing soccer. The way I was juggling my time for both was really challenging.
I studied the IB diploma course ( International baccalaureate course) which is a challenging course in general. Then the next thing I know my football season started and my friend called me and told me to come and try out for a team, that's when I was first introduced to Lalitpur FC. My first ever permanent professional team. We had a few qualifying rounds and I qualified as their second goalkeeper for the tournament. During the practice periods, I had to juggle between my online classes and my training sessions. I am lucky to say that I had coaches and teachers who understood my passion for the game and they were very supportive about it.
During my senior year we started having online classes again, they started in the winter season. I woke up at 6 clocks went to my high school at 6:30 and requested my teachers to let me go by 1 although school ended at 3:15 so that I could make it on time for my training sessions. I used to ride on my scooter everyday during the winter season so going to training was comfortbale. Then I trained for atlest 3 hours , then went to the gym and came back home. I used to study tuitions for atleast 1 and a half hour after i was back.
This is only a small part of my journey and about how much i've had to scarifice to play this beutiful game. There is nothing more that I would like but to play this game that made me who I am right now.
