Personal Statement

Since I was a 7-year-old girl, my passion for soccer has been the center of my life. Growing up in Barranquilla, Colombia, a place where women's soccer was not as developed, I faced the challenge of playing primarily with male teams. This experience not only deepened my love for the sport but also forged my character, strengthening my gameplay, discipline, and perseverance. Over the years, these challenges have transformed me into the athlete and person I am today.

My unique journey makes me an ideal candidate for your team. The ability to adapt and excel in a predominantly male environment demonstrates my strength, resilience, and capacity to face and overcome any obstacle. These experiences have taught me not only to compete but to excel under pressure, qualities I am eager to bring to your team.

What sets me apart from other recruits is my unique combination of character, athletic ability, and academic performance. Unlike many, I have learned to balance the pressure of sport with a dedication to my studies, teaching me the importance of discipline and time management. On the field, my experience playing with and against men has given me a unique perspective and tenacity, making me a stronger and more tactically astute player.

Thank you for considering me to be part of your team.
