It's Mackenzie Best here all the way from Australia. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and read my personal statement. To have the opportunity to study abroad and follow my dream of playing college soccer would be an unforgettable and rewarding experience that I would be so grateful to have the opportunity to do. I am a team player that takes full responsibility for my training, schooling and soccer. I understand that Soccer is a highly competitive sport where nothing beats hard work and if you want to be the best, you have to put the hard yards in and be determined and dedicated through the times when the sport doesn't always go your way. I consider myself a player that is a leader, I am always encouraging others, congratulating them on their successes and taking ownership of the team's training intensity and quality. I feel as though I can bring positive attributes to college teams stateside, through my personality, positive attitude, determination, resilience and love for the sport and hard work. I am someone that works hard off the field and take pride in my academics. I understand that education is a crucial part of your life and you never stop learning. I can't wait to see what the recruiting process will have in store for me as well as the future that is ahead of me in the US.
