Emmaline Wood '20 Recruiting Profile

Academically, my college goals are to obtain a bachelor's degree in Biology, then move on towards medical school.  I have enjoyed playing soccer for so long it is hard to imagine life without soccer at a competitive level.  I constantly strive to improve personally both on and off the field.  

I have demonstrated a strong work ethic and  leadership at club and school by maintaining strong physical conditioning, practicing hard, fighting for every possession, and maintaining a positive attitude in varying circumstances.  I have worked part time and had several medical work-study and internships

I am 5’7”, 135 pounds.  I play central and outside midfield and outside back. 

I have played club soccer since 2008, and my club from U16 to U19 has been AYSO United which I joined in it's inaugural year.

I  have started freshman through junior year on the  Kennedy High School JV1 squad, opting for more playing time versus the prestige of varsity. My first 2 years at the high school level I played outside mid, and last year most of my playing time was at the attacking center mid position.
