The main people who have influenced who I am in life are my parents, they have always taught me to make good choices and do what is right. I first became interested in soccer at the age eight when I first joined a coed dads club team. I quickly learned how to play soccer and I was good at defending my goalie and being aggressive at such a young age. Throughout my years of playing soccer I have learned to be a leader and supporter of my team even if we are down five goals in a game and I always tell them to keep their heads high and just play soccer because that is what we came here to do. For the end of my high school career I will hope to achieve a 3.5 Gpa and in college I hope to maintain a 3.5 gpa throughout the four years while playing soccer for whichever school I choose. One of the main obstacles I've had to overcome is maintaining my grades during soccer season, since I've gotten older I've also gotten much better at keeping my grades up. On my team I am one of the most aggressive players and will never give up if I get beat by a faster player I will always try my hardest to come back from my mistakes. I am also the only one who slide tackles and I do it really well. I am captain this year and my coach has chosen me to take all free kicks because I know where to direct the ball to get my team down the field. Since I am a centerback I don't get that many chances at scoring goals but I have scored 5 goals in my soccer career from taking free kicks or from penalty shoot outs.
