Maya Fritz '23 Recruiting Profile

I am currently undecided on my major but am looking into anthropology or creative writing for a career in publishing. My goal, as it has been since I was 4 years old, is to play soccer in college. I am a hard worker, strong, and competitive. I am easily coached and happy to try new strategies and plays. I believe in teamwork, good sportsmanship, and respect for players and coaches alike. What sets me apart in athletics is how I used to play as a striker but now play solely as a keeper.  This gives me a unique insight into a striker's mind that not many keepers have. In academics, I have been a dedicated student for 11 years, and I am advanced in both math and science. I also plan on graduating with honors and a seal of biliteracy. I am fully committed to playing soccer at the next level.
