Alyson Skala '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyson Skala. I am a multi-sport athlete who has aspirations to play soccer at the collegiate level. This season will be my fourth and final year on the Girls' Varsity soccer team at Iowa City West High School. Last season I was a Team Captain and I had confidence in leading by example.

I have strong ball-handling skills and great situational awareness on the field, I can often anticipate what will happen next. I am a very versatile player and am capable of playing non-defensive positions as needed.

In the classroom, I strive to continue to maintain a competitive GPA and have a strong interest in math and science. I am a member of the National Honor Society.

I aim to attend a college where I can challenge myself not only in the classroom but on the field as well. I plan on studying BioMedical Engineering and hope to pursue a Graduate program after completing my Bachelor's.
