Eli Heaton '25 Recruiting Profile

Dedication and a smart work ethic are two of the most important things to me. Being a goalkeeper has taught me leadership, adaptability, and how to balance community, athletics, and academic achievement. I have been privileged to take a leadership position as a rotating captain, marching band section leader, and honor student. My goal for any team I am on is to: support, learn, and build.

          I put the same amount of drive into soccer as I do academics. This has allowed me to start the first honors biology class in my district, and accelerate beyond most grade level classes. I have started varsity as a rotating captain my first two years of high school and am the first team all conference goalkeeper. I have worked through injury and aggressive play these past years to support my team achieve a steady spot in our conference. As a result we have seen a significant increase in defensive shut outs.

I am planning on majoring in environmental science and am  prepared to balance intense academics. I hope to continue to grow as a goalkeeper, and present myself the best that I can be.
