Rylie Mitchell '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Rylie, I am a sophomore at Liberty University Online Academy and will be a varsity starter for my hometown highschool team in Emporia, KS. Soccer has always been my biggest passion since I could remember. Before High School season starts, I will be playing with my club team KC Athletics ECNL-RL 09G. 

Club -  This season I will be playing as an Outside Back, Midfielder and occasionally Winger, which allows me to show my verstility of all positions on the field. While Outside Back allows me to showcase my speed with over-lapping runs into attacking areas and still being able to track back to my defensive spots quickly. I really enjoy playing the Winger position, where I focus on my 1 v 1 abilities for scoring or delivering crosses to my teammates to assist them in scoring opportunities. 

High School - I will be playing Center Midfield. This position helps me step up as a leader. Allowing me to show my field awareness and knowledge of offensive and defensive tactics to control the speed of play. While playing Center Midfield I am able to push forward to create scoring opportunities for myself and teammates. Which is something I really enjoy. 

My goal is to play in college at the highest level I can achieve, while continuing my growth within the sport.
