Gianina Diaz '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!

My name is Gianina Diaz. I’m currently a Senior at Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy. Kenner Discovery is located in Kenner, Louisiana. I’ve lived in the New Orleans area all of my life and the best part of growing up here is the food. I believe we have the best food in the world. I’m a very active person in and outside of school. I love spending time with my family and friends. I believe having a strong support system is very important. I’ve played several sports including soccer, basketball and cross country. Sports is an important part of my life!

This current season, I’m a starter and co-captain for our schools varsity soccer team. I love soccer and my favorite professional player is Megan Rapinoe. Not only is she a great player, but she’s an advocate for numerous organizations. I’ve been playing since I was 4 years old. I’ll play any position that my coach ask. However, I’m currently playing right midfield. I’ve played every position except goalie. I’m also a 4 year starter on varsity soccer.

I was selected Athletic All-District Team Honors, First Team. I also received Kenner Discovery Girls Soccer Outstanding Offense. In addition, I received Athletic HEART Award in girls Cross Country.

In June 2019, I attended soccer ID camp at Texas Southern University. I really enjoyed the camp. I was able to meet several coaches who taught me additional skills. This enhanced my skills and have made me a better player.

Soccer is my passion! With my skills and determination, I hope to continue my education and growth by attending college. My goals are to get a quality education and play college soccer. I hope you’ll consider me as a prospect and I feel very confident that I’ll make a great addition to your team. Thank you for your time and consideration.
