Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since I was three years old, and have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. I apply a tall presence and I am very willing to put my head on the ball. I have a dangerous long ball and shot, and can also read the game very well. I am flexible and can play multiple positions other than center back. I show up with a positive attitude and a work rate to get better. I spent my first 10 years playing for Cabosa Shreveport United, which at the time was the best club team they offered in Louisiana. Noticing that I would need to find a better known team if I wanted to get noticed, I found HTX/ Houston Dash and have spent the last 3 years with them. As far as high school goes, I play for Captain Shreve coached by Erik Lane. I have also done track 2 years of my high school career and participated in the 800, mile, and 2 mile. In the classroom, I am a very well behaved student and maintain a high GPA. I am involved in National Honors Society, Student Council, VP of Garden Club, FCA, Athletes before school, No One Eats Alone, Beta Club, and Science Club. I volunteer as much as I can, and love to help whoever whenever.
Playing in college is not only a dream, but a goal of mine that I am striving to achieve. I am open to anything, and would love to focus on a biology degree as I want to pursue Optometry when I get older. Thank you!
