I have been playing soccer since I was four years old when my dad was the coach of my team, Purple Crushers. Through soccer, I have learned the value of teamwork, hard work, dedication, disappointment, leadership, time management, and friendship and how all of these aspects translate into success, on and off the field. The game I love has taught me to be a better athlete, student, daughter, sister, volunteer, leader and friend. I plan to harness the grit and determination fostered in me from my soccer experience to further my education in the area of occupational therapy while playing soccer at a highly competitive level. I am currently in the gateway program at my high school and take all honors and AP classes. Learning to balance the rigorous demands of a travel soccer schedule and intense coursework while in high school will help me be successful in college and throughout life. My goal is to become the best version of myself, and I can only accomplish this by maintaining a coachable attitude and committed work ethic. Some words I use to describe myself are fiercely loyal, peacekeeper, and sought-after confidant. I look forward to continuing to develop my skills at the next level.
