My dream is to continue playing soccer beyond high school while earning my college degree. I have played soccer for seven years and cannot imagine not playing soccer beyond high school. I am a competitor and love the game of soccer. I love that it challenges me mentally and physically. I love being part of a team that works together to win games. When I play sports I constantly push myself to do better. When I step on the soccer field I give it my all and expect the same from my teammates. Last year, after winning the State Championship, my soccer team was lucky enough to visit Saint Anselm College and meet their women's soccer team. We watched them practice and learned a lot about their extensive training program. We also had the opportunity to tour the campus. I hope to be part of a team like that one day, one that not only plays great soccer but also serves as role models for young athletes that also love the game of soccer.
I consider myself to be well-rounded. Other than soccer I also play lacrosse and basketball. By playing three different sports I feel it has taught me the importance of teamwork, commitment and leadership. When I am not playing sports I like to skateboard, make crafts and spend time with my two dogs. My friends would probably describe me as athletic, funny, and competitive. I am a very good student but at this time I am not certain what I want to do for a career.
