My collegiate goals are to receive a great education and to play the game that I have grown to love...soccer. I am a driven and determined player on the field, which carries over into the classroom and my overall personal success. Coaches from a young age have played me in roles that they have called “the field coach”, because they trust my mental strategy and the respect I receive from my teammates when it comes to position and coach requests. They also ask for me to set the tone when it comes to playing defense, especially the 6, and when it comes to finishing corner kicks or free kicks. This intensity and drive has played an important role in my school successes.
Being the granddaughter of a principal, it has been instilled in me that my education must be a priority. During my four years at Mercy High School, I will be a member of the Catherine McAuley Honors Program and Sr. Agnese Neumann Scholars Program. I have taken honors classes, won several academic awards, and received a perfect score on my IB Middle Years Programme Personal Project. These successes in school were possible due to the lessons I learned being on the soccer field.
By investing in me, you will gain a dedicated individual with the goal of being the best representative I can be for your program and the school. I hold myself to a personal standard that will keep me moving forward in the right direction towards success and to a position where you will be proud to tell people you believed in me as a player and young woman. I look forward to the opportunity of discussing how I can be an asset to your program.
